Standard & Poor’s 500 and Nasdaq indexes opened higher today, Monday, after achieving strong gains last week, amid investors’ anticipation of the announcement of some of the major listed companies’ quarterly results throughout the week.
According to “Reuters”, the Standard & Poor’s 500 opened up 3.44 points, or 0.08%, to 4,508.86 points, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 36.21 points, or 0.26%, to 14,149.92.
As for the Dow Jones Industrial Average, it fell 9.29 points, or 0.03%, to 34,499.74 points.
