Goldman Sachs raises its target for S&P500 index to 4,500 ‎points during 2023‎

Goldman Sachs raised its target for the S&P500 index at the end of this year to 4,500 points, indicating that these gains exceed the large technology companies.

The S&P500 is an index that tracks the performance of the 500 largest companies on Wall Street, including Amazon, Meta, and Visa.

According to the US bank, the new targets represent an increase of 5% from the current levels, and it is higher than the last target of Goldman Sachs at 4000 points.

The S&P 500 index is up about 12% this year

Although the index ended Friday’s session with a weak rise of 0.1%, it breached 4,300 points during the session, a level the S&P500 has not reached since August.
