Muhammad Al-Shetwi appointed as CEO of “Horizon Foods

Horizon Foods Company announced the decision of the Board of Directors to appoint Muhammad bin Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Shetwi as CEO of the company and to terminate the assignment of Ahmed bin Muhammad Hussein Al-Arfaj, a member of the Board of Directors, to the executive management, and to transfer the status of membership from executive to non-executive.

Al-Shetawi holds an MBA from MIT University, a Master of Science degree in financial engineering from New York University, a bachelor’s degree in administrative sciences specializing in financial management from King Saud University, and a credit analysis diploma from JPMorgan Chase Manhattan Bank. In America, and his last job was the CEO of the Saudi Company for Advanced Industries, and he held the position of CFO in the Fund of Funds Company affiliated to the Public Investment Fund (PIF), which works in the activity of bold investments and private equity, Private Equity and Venture Capital

He also worked as a consultant at the Ministry of Finance, head of the government financial dues settlement unit, and director of the treasury unified account project initiative, in addition to other tasks in the ministry. And he worked as an assistant to His Excellency the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation for financial affairs and an executive vice president for investment in the Saudi Civil Aviation Holding Company, in addition to other tasks in the authority, and he worked as a director of investment and cash management in the Saudi Electricity Company, and he worked in several Saudi commercial banks in the corporate financing department Banking.
