PwC Middle East has obtained a license for its regional headquarters from the Ministry of Investment and the Ministry of Commerce in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which reinforces its commitment to contributing to achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, driving transformation programs and supporting the development of national talent.
His Excellency the Saudi Minister of Investment, Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, and His Excellency Dr. Hazem Al-Zaqzouq, Advisor to the Royal Court, attended the opening ceremony of the regional headquarters, which was held at Al-Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh on May 31, 2023, in addition to a number of distinguished guests.
PwC is one of the largest professional services companies in the Middle East, which works continuously to support the government, national vision realization programs, ministries, royal commissions, major projects, and the public system in the Kingdom in the framework of setting strategies and advancing transformation And creating solutions based on leading human talent supported by technologies in order to build trust and achieve sustainable results.
His Excellency the Saudi Minister of Investment, Engineer Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, said: “We welcome the opening of the headquarters of international companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and we are pleased today to open the new regional headquarters of PwC in Riyadh, as this headquarters will contribute to building the system of regional headquarters in the Kingdom.” The establishment of international standards for how the regional headquarters of the professional and consulting services sector companies operate. PwC Middle East has more than 2,000 employees in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, more than half of whom are nationals and more than 400 of whom are Saudi nationals. This year, more than 200 Saudi graduates have joined PwC, more than half of whom are Saudi nationals. In 2024, PwC will also open its main headquarters in the King Abdullah Financial District, which will include the Riyadh Experience Center. The Riyadh headquarters will be at the heart of the Kingdom’s transformation, and will add to PwC’s base of presence across the Kingdom, which will now have six offices including those in Jeddah, Khobar, Al-Ula and Dhahran.
