GASTAT: Saudi oil exports increased by 62%, non-oil exports up ‎‎14% in 2022‎

The General Authority for Statistics revealed an increase in commodity exports in 2022 AD by 48.9% over 2021 AD, with a value of 1.54 trillion riyals in 2022 AD, up from 1.03 trillion riyals in 2021 AD; This is as a result of the increase in petroleum exports by 468.2 billion riyals, or 61.8%, with a value of 1.22 trillion riyals, compared to 758.1 billion riyals in 2021 AD.

The percentage of petroleum exports out of the total exports increased from 73.2% in 2021 AD to 79.5% in 2022 AD.

The authority stated that non-oil exports “including re-exports” recorded an increase of 13.7% from 2021 AD, as it recorded 315.7 billion riyals compared to 277.5 billion riyals, and non-oil exports “excluding re-exports” increased to 14.8%, and increased The value of re-exports increased by 8.6% in the same period

In terms of imports, it increased in 2022 by 24.2%, amounting to 138.9 billion riyals as it amounted to 712.0 billion riyals in 2022 AD, compared to 573.2 billion riyals in 2021 AD.
