Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced the budget for the first quarter of this year, with revenues amounting to SR 280.9944 billion, expenditures SR 283.855 billion, and a deficit of SR 2.910 billion.
This is compared to the budget for the first quarter of last year 2022, when revenues amounted to SR 277.96 billion, expenses SR 220.47 billion, and a surplus of SR 57.5 billion.
According to the estimates of the Saudi Ministry of Finance, the estimated budget for the year 2023 showed that the revenues are SR 1130 billion, the expenditures are SR 1114 billion, and the surplus is SR 16 billion.
On the other hand, the actual revenues for the year 2022 amounted to 1234 billion riyals, the expenses amounted to 1132 billion riyals, and the surplus amounted to 102 billion riyals.
