Elon Musk close to regain world’s richest person title

Tesla CEO Elon Musk made history by losing $200 billion. There have been some dramatic fluctuations in his personal wealth over the past few years.

The Tesla CEO’s net worth was $191 billion as of Thursday, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. This makes him the second richest person in the world, behind French billionaire Bernard Arnault, CEO of the Louis Vuitton group, which specializes in selling luxury goods. The French business tycoon has a fortune of $192 billion, which is only $1 billion more than Musk’s.

Musk’s wealth, CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, Twitter, and The Boring Company, increased by $ 54.2 billion during the current year, after Tesla’s stock rose and surpassed its worst year ever.

Musk’s fortune began to recover in late January, and Tesla stock is up 73% through February 16, according to FactSet. This offsets the decline, which reached 65% in 2022, according to the “Morning Star” website.
