South Korea’s Hoban signs MOU with Aramco to cooperate in ‎projects related to infrastructure ‎

The South Korean Hoban Group said today, Monday, that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with Saudi Aramco for mutual cooperation in Dammam.

According to the Korean Yonhap Agency, Hoban and Aramco agreed on mutual cooperation in winning projects affiliated with the group in Saudi Arabia, such as construction, manufacturing, and others.

The Hoban Construction Company and the Hoban I & C Company have also agreed with Aramco to cooperate in projects related to infrastructure and underground facilities in Saudi Arabia.

Taihan Cable, a subsidiary of the group, is planning additional investment in the electric power sectors, equipment and machinery, such as extra high-voltage cables in Saudi Arabia.

An official in the group explained that Tayhan Cable has provided cables to the countries of the Middle East for more than 50 years, and it has many networks in this region, and added that the group will seek job opportunities in various fields in Saudi Arabia such as infrastructure and underground facilities and others.
