Saudi SAL Logistics Services Company signed a memorandum of understanding with Menzies Airlines to study the establishment of a partnership to provide the best ground services for low-cost airlines at the Kingdom’s airports and to provide the best services with professionalism and high quality.
Under the establishment of this partnership, Menzies Airlines will provide all studies to the “Saudi Arabia Company” on the transfer of best practices globally to improve the level of passenger services, baggage management, and raise the efficiency of operating services, in addition to how to provide all requirements for passengers from issuance of boarding pass to take-off, In a smooth and distinct manner that contributes to achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to improve the services provided at the Kingdom’s airports and develop them to be among the most advanced and world-leading airports.
Faisal Al-Baddah, Managing Director and CEO of “Saudi Arabia’s SAL” company, stressed the importance of this memorandum with the international company Menzies to harness all its capabilities and expertise in the field of aviation, to support future plans aimed at making a quantum leap and a major leap in airport services in the Kingdom, and increasing its capacity, to enhance the experience of passengers and increase Their level of satisfaction, according to the latest international systems, and the highest standards of safety and security.
Al-Baddah indicated that the memorandum supports SAL’s efforts in supporting the national aviation strategy to double the capacity and reach 330 million passengers annually, to more than 250 destinations in the world to provide the best integrated logistics services inside and outside airports in the Kingdom, and to build a wide network linking domestic airports and seaports. , and land transport centers to develop and grow this vital and important sector, enhance its role in supporting the domestic product, and advancing the national economy, in accordance with the directions of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
