Rawasi Al-Binaa appoints Marzouq Al-Otaibi as BOD Chairman, Salman Al-Judaie as deputy

The Board of Directors of Rawasi Al-Binaa Investment Company decided during its meeting on 02/01/2023 to appoint Mr. Marzouq Mutaib Mutlaq Al-Otaibi, current board member (independent member) – as Chairman of the BOD and Maintaining the membership of Mr. Salman Ghazai Nour Al-Jedaie (independent member) – as Vice-Chairman of BOD.

The Company said on the Tadawul website that the effective date of the decision of the BOD is from 09/06/1444 H corresponding to 02/01/2023 until the end of the current session of the Board, which ends on 12/09/2023T, and the approval of the Board is not final, and this appointment will be presented to the first meeting of the General Assembly for approval.

Referring to the announcement of Rawasi Al-Binaa Investment Company on the Tadawul website on 01/01/2023 regarding the resignation of the Chairman of the Board of Directors from the presidency and membership of the Board on 01/01/2023 and after the approval of the Board to accept the resignation and to thank Mr. Saad Amash Saad Al-Shammari, the former Chairman of the Board of Directors.

It is worth noting that Mr. Marzouq Meteb Mutlaq Al-Otaibi holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in security sciences from Naif Arab University for Security Sciences He has experience in technology and management with several companies.

In another matter, Rawasi Al-Binaa Investment Company announces the approval of BOD on 09/06/1444 H corresponding to 02/01/2023 to appoint Mr. / Abdulaziz Abdullah Ibrahim Al-Faqih – (Board Member – Independent) Member of the Audit Committee. As of the date of the Board’s approval, and will complete the remaining period of the term of the current Committee until ends on 12/09/2023.”

It is worth noting that Mr. / Abdulaziz Abdullah Ibrahim Al-Faqih, specializing in business administration, has 30 years of experience in managing development for several companies, and he was occupied the position of advisor to the chairman of the Saudi Telecom Group.
