ACWA Power extends opening of candidacy for membership of BOD for Seat No. 12 until January 12

ACWA Power announced on Tuesday that the period of candidacy for seat 12 in the membership of the Board of Directors will be extended to end on January 12, 2023 instead of December 29, 2022.
Further, completion of nomination and appointment process will be subject to entry into force of the Companies Law issued by Royal Decree No (M/132) and with no contradiction thereof. Moreover, it will be subject to any additional requirements stipulated under any regulations or implementing regulations issued in accordance to the afore mentioned companies’ law in addition to approval of the required amendments on the company’s bylaw and any relevant internal documents accordingly.
This comes with reference to the company’s previous announcement about opening for candidacy for Board of Directors Seat No. 12, and given that the nomination and appointment process may require fulfillment of any additional requirements that may be issued pursuant to the entry into force of the Companies Law issued by Royal Decree No (M/132), the candidacy period has been extended until 12 January 2023.
