MEPCO announces impact on operations as result of severe rainy situation in Jeddah, full production capacity restores in 7 days

Middle East Paper Company (MEPCO) announced on Monday the impact on its operations as a result of the severe rainy situation in the city of Jeddah on November 24, 2022, where production stopped at the company’s Plant located in Al Khumrah neighborhood, in addition to the impact on some logistical activities, with no human injuries.
The company successfully restored about 40% of the production capacity of the plant within 48 Hours, and the operating team is currently working to restore the full production capacity, which is expected within seven days from the disclosure date.
Given that MEPCO has the appropriate insurance coverage.
