Igor Kobzev, governor of the Russian Irkutsk region, said that a fire that broke out early Sunday morning at the Angarsk oil refinery in Siberia has been put out.
According to Reuters, Kobzev said that there were no injuries and the work at the facility was not affected
The facility, one of the largest oil refineries in Siberia, is owned by the Angarsk Petrochemical Company of Rosneft, Russia’s largest oil producer, and is located near Lake Baikal in southern Siberia.
