Alamar BOD distributes SR17.6 mln cash dividends for Q3

Alamar Foods Co. announced on Wednesday the Board of Directors’ approval of the distribution of interim cash dividends to the shareholders for the third quarter of 2022.
Indicating that the number of shares entitled to dividends is 25.2 million shares, at 0.70 riyals per share.
The eligibility of the dividends shall be for the Company’s shareholders owning shares by the end of the trading day of Sunday 27/11/2022 and registered with the Securities Depository Center Company (“Edaa”) at the end of the second trading day following the date of entitlement. The distribution date is 12/12/2022.
It concluded: “We would like to draw the shareholders’ attention to the following regulation regarding the payment of dividends:
“for non-resident investors, the dividend paid by the company is subject to a withholding tax of 5.0% upon transfer to the non-resident investor or credit to the account according to the provisions of Article (68) of the Income Tax Law and Article (63) of the Implementing Regulations.”
The Company urges the shareholders to update their investment portfolio bank account data to ensure the timely receipt of their dividends.
