OPEC Secretary-General: Oil markets witness extreme volatility
The Secretary-General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Haitham Al-Ghais, said that “the oil markets are going through a period of extreme volatility.”
According to “Reuters”, Al-Ghais, who was speaking during his two-day visit to Algeria, added that the goal of OPEC and non-OPEC producers is to maintain market stability.
