Minister of Finance discusses with Kristalina Georgieva establishment of a regional office for IMF in Riyadh

Saudi Minister of Finance Mohammed Abdullah Al-Jadaan said that he discussed with Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, areas of cooperation between the Kingdom and the IMF, including capacity development and the establishment of a regional office for the IMF in Riyadh.
And he explained in a tweet via his account on Twitter that, during the fruitful meeting, he stressed the Kingdom’s support for the IMF efforts to mitigate the impact of the food crisis, its supportive and continuous stance toward countries in need to confront the food and energy crisis, and the Kingdom’s contributions during the past year to support the region and the most affected countries.
