Almarai repays full value of fifth issue sukuk, amounting to SR1.6 bln

Almarai Company announced on Sunday the payment of the full value of the “fifth issue” sukuk amounting to SR1,600 million on September 16, 2022.
The company said in a statement on Sunday on Tadawul that the total number of (sukuk / bonds) recovered is 1,600, while the nominal value of the instrument upon redemption was SR1,000,000, and that the date of depositing the amounts in the accounts of (sukuk / bonds) holders will be on 16.09.2022.
The financial impact of this transaction will appear in the financial results of the third quarter 2022.
The Company wants to thank its investor base, specifically all the Sukuk holders who participated in this series, for repeatedly placing their trust in the Company, its board and its management.
