Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company Announces the Appointment of a New CEO

Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (Saudi Kayan) announces its board of directors’ resolution, based on the recommendation of the Remuneration and Nominations Committee, appointing Eng. Metab Zaid Al-Shahrani as the CEO starting from 24 July 2022, succeeding of Eng. Omar Ali Al-Ruhaily who was transferred to another position in the manufacturing sector at SABIC.

The Board of Directors said it “expresses its sincere thanks and appreciation to Eng. Omar Ali Al-Ruhaily for his achievement and fruitful efforts in improving the company’s performance and developing its business during his presidency of the company, wishing him success.”

The Board of Directors also wishes Eng. Metab Zaid Al-Shahrani success in his work as CEO of the company, the statement said.
