ACWA POWER Announces start of operation for Al Dur II IWPP in Bahrain

ACWA POWER Company announced on Sunday the start of operation of power generation and water desalination at Haya Power & Desalination Company (Al Dur II IWPP) located in Al Dur, Kingdom of Bahrain, having a capacity of 1,500MW power and 227,000 cubic meter/day desalinated water.

ACWA Power owns a net stake of 60% in Al Dur II IWPP.

The full financial impact of operating the project is expected from Q3 2022 financial results onwards.
