The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) revealed in a recent report that Saudis’ trades (buying and selling) on the US stock market declined 48.4% to SR 39.9 billion in the first quarter of 2022 compared to SR 77.4 billion during the same period of 2021.
The CMA said that Saudis’ trades also fell 13.6% or by SR 6.3 billion in the first quarter compared to SR 46.2 billion in the fourth quarter of the last year, which is considered the sixth quarterly decline in a row.
