Points of Sale transactions hit SR8.4 bln in a week -SAMA

The total value of point-of-sale transactions in Saudi Arabia from 1^st to May 7^th reached SR 8.402 billion against SR 15.971 billion in the week earlier, the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) reported.

SAMA added that 120.147 million POS transactions have been executed during the last week.

In details, sales during the week included executing 4,463,000 transactions worth SR 650.929 million, while transactions on construction and building reached 653,000 worth SR 123,346,000.

In education, there were 25,000 transactions worth SR 4,758,000, also 476,000 worth SR 117,052,000 on electronic equipment, while fuel stations witnessed executing 11,065,000 worth SR 662,258,000.
