Oil prices on Friday for the third session in a row, as impending European Union sanctions on Russian oil raised the prospect of lower supply.
Brent futures advanced $1.43, or 1.3%, to trade at $112.31 per barrel by (1618 GMT), while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude gained $1.50, or 1.4%, to trade at $109.77 a barrel.
Both Crudes are on track for weekly gains after the EU set out an embargo on Russian oil.
