(SABB) completes phase II of planting 10k trees to support Saudi Green initiative

The Saudi British Bank (SABB) employees have completed the second phase of the “Let’s Make It Green” campaign, which is intended to plant 10,000 trees to help achieve the goals of the Saudi Green Initiative, protect the environment, and promote environmental awareness around the subject.

During this voluntary initiative, staff carried out the afforestation project at one of the parks in the Thadiq province in the Riyadh region, embodying solidarity and social responsibility in order to enhance the environment and build a sustainable future.

SABB launched this initiative with the goal of contributing to achieving the Saudi Green Initiative’s objectives, by combating desertification, developing the natural vegetation cover and raising societal awareness about the value of agricultural wealth and the need to protect it, which benefits both the people and the environment in the Kingdom.

SABB puts sustainability and environmental, social and governance among the top priorities of its five-year strategy, and dedicates its efforts to achieving sustainable development goals in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
