Saudi Tadawul market value hits $3.19 trln in Q1 2022

The market value of Saudi stock market or Tadawul rose by 24.21% to SR 11.963 trillion ($3.190 trillion) by the end of the first quarter 2022, based on the Q1 statistic report.

By the end of the last quarter, TASI jumped 32.12% or 3,182.58 points to close at 13,090.40 points compared to the close of the same period of 2021.

The highest record close of TASI was on 29^th of March 2022 at 13,101.36 points.

Total value of shares traded on tadawul was SR 542.81 billion ($144.75 billion), with a decline of 22.15% from the same period of the year before.

Moreover, 12.87 billion shares traded during the first quarter against 21.81 billion ones traded in the same period of 2021, a decrease of 40.98%.

Number of deals executed fell 14.32% to 23.64 million from 27.59 million deals.
