Nama Appoints Faiz Alahamri as Chairman of BOD, Abdullah Alsubayel as Vice Chairman

Nama Chemicals Company announced in Thursday that the Board of Directors has made the following decisions in its meeting held on 23rd February 2022:

* Appointing Mr. Faiz Ahmed Alahamri as Chairman of the Board.

* Appointing Eng. Abdullah Hajres Alsubayel as Vice Chairman of the Board.

* Appointing Mr. Ali Saad Alqahtani as the Board of Directors Secretary.

* Forming the Executive Committee as Follow:

1. Eng Abdullah Hajers Alsubayel as Chairman of the Committee.
2. Mr. Faiz Ahmed Alhamri as Member of the Committee.
3. Eng. Saeed Ahmed Bayounes as Member of the Committee.

* Forming the Nomination and Remuneration Committee as Follow:

1. Eng. Saeed Ahmed Bayounes as Chairman of the Committee.
2. Mr. Faiz Ahmed Alahmari as Member of the Committee.
3. Mr. Abdullah Jaber Alfaifi as Member of the Committee.

* Appointing the Company’s representatives for the Capital Market Authority as Follow:

1. Mr. Abdullah Jaber Alfaifi, Board Member.
2. Eng. Saeed Ahmed Bayounes, Board Member.
3. Eng. Abdullah Mohammed Alsalem, the Chief Executive Officer of the Company.

This comes with reference to the General Assembly Meeting held on 1st February 2022 which the Board of Directors have been elected for the coming three years, the term starts on 17th February 2022 and ends on 16th February 2025.

Nama Chemicals Company (Nama) also announced the approval of its Board of Directors pursuant to Board Resolution No. (05-MD-2022) dated February 23, 2022 to appoint Abdullah Jaber Alfaifi as Chairman of the Audit Committee, succeeding Faiz Ahmed Alahamri, Chairman of the Board of Directors, starting as of the date of the decision until the end of the current session of the committee, which ends on 03.08.2024.

Abdullah Jaber Alfaifi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and several other certificates. He has long experience in the field of finance and corporate governance, with nearly 30 years of experience, and has held many leadership positions in the Kingdom.

The company said that the approval of the Board is not final and this appointment will be presented to the first meeting of the General Assembly for approval.
