The overnight interest rates among Saudi banks known as “SIBOR,” charged on Saudi Riyal as well as US Dollar denominated deposits, rose for the 3rd month in a row, hitting 0.5218% at the end of December 2021, up 55% on yoy, from 0.3367% in 2020, pushing it to the highest level ever.
