Zain, the 1st to Launch the 5G Stand-Alone Network

Full Adoption of the Fifth Generation Network (5G Stand-Alone) technology was revealed, at the LEAP International Technical Conference, by Zain Saudi Arabia.

Thus setting a new technical precedent, in the Kingdom, being the 1^st company to achieve such a qualitative achievement, inaugurating an innovative.

For the future uses and applications of the fifth generation (5G), it opens up furthermore prospects for the growth of digital services and enables individuals and business communities to keep pace with the comprehensive digital transformation process, in the Kingdom.

That would be in accordance with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which means the need for a reliable and secure communication infrastructure, which would achieve the highest speeds of response time.

Zain Saudi Arabia has excelled in achieving that, in order to provide the public with the best and most reliable digital services, including the Internet of Things, robotic services, artificial intelligence services, machine learning, blockchain, drones and augmented reality.

With the launch of the 5G Stand-Alone technology, Zain Saudi Arabia adds a new achievement, as it had inaugurated the largest 5G network in the region, laying its foundations through horizontal and vertical expansion for its fifth generation network, spreading all over the Kingdom – in 51 cities – through more than 5,000 towers, with high reliability and unprecedented speeds, in the world.

The full adoption of the fifth generation network (5G Stand-Alone) also provides the possibility of using the network slicing system, which will allow customers to benefit from multiple network benefits, at the same time, including cloud services from Zain Cloud, which enhances the user experience.
