Al Jouf Cement Announces Non convenience of EGA due to lack of quorum

Al-Jouf Cement Company announced on Sunday that the Extraordinary General Assembly meeting (the first meeting) will not be held on January 20, 2022 through modern technology, due to the lack of the quorum required for the assembly to convene, as the attendance rate for the first meeting was (4.98%).

The company said that the reason behind non-convening the assembly is insufficient quorum for the meeting, as the extraordinary general assembly meeting is not valid unless attended by shareholders representing at least half of the capital.
