The top 10 firms on the Saudi stock exchange Tadawul, in terms of profitability and book value, was disclosed, in name, by Al-Jazira Capital.
Shares of companies such as Saudi Electricity and Al-Yamamah Steel Industries were traded, at the lowest profit multiples (Price/Earnings) of 7.06 and 10.15, respectively, followed by Sipchem and Riyadh Development, at 11.06, each.
Saudi Investment Bank and Al-Jouf Cement had the lowest P/E book values, at 0.57 and 0.93 multiples, respectively, followed by the Saudi Investment Bank and Al-Jouf Cement at 1 and 1.06 multiples, respectively.

TASI, the main index has ended December 2021 session, at
points, up 4.8 percent compared to the previous month and 29.8% compared to the same month the previous year.
On the other hand, the overall value stood at SR160.0 billion, with an average daily volume of SR7.3 billion.
For their part, shares of companies operating in the basic commodities and banking sectors, have accounted for 30.9 percent of the total value, during the month.
However, the media and long-term commodities sectors have gone through the greatest month, with gains of 21.6% and 8.9%, respectively, over the previous month.
Coming to the insurance and consumer services sectors, they fared the worst, with declines of 2.0% and 0.9%, respectively, compared to the previous month.
Sadr Logistics Services’ stock had the greatest month in December, rising 56.1% over the previous month.
On the other hand, Al Ahly Takaful company, had the lowest result, falling 13.6% compared to the previous month.
