Saudi Ambassador, Egyptian Minister of Finance Discuss Prospects of Broader Investment

The Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Osama Nuqli met with the Egyptian Minister of Finance, Dr. Muhammad Maait.

During the meeting, Dr. Maait stressed Egypt’s keenness to open broad investment prospects to Saudi investors, and to benefit from the investments provided by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), in laying foundations for comprehensive and sustainable development, in Egypt.

For his part, Ambassador Nuqli indicated the Kingdom’s keenness to encourage increasing the volume of Saudi investments, in Egypt, in the light of the promising investment opportunities offered by the Egyptian government, pointing to the interest shown by the PIF, as the investment arm of the Kingdom’s government, to launch new investment opportunities, in Egypt and other sister countries, including the consolidation of economic cooperation relations.

The two officials, also stressed the strength of the strategic relations between the Kingdom and Egypt, and the aspiration of the political leadership in the two countries to strengthen and deepen relations, in a way that ensures closer ties and the transition of bilateral cooperation to distinct levels, to best serve the interest of the two brotherly peoples.
