Tahliya to Hold World Conference, in Feb, 2022

Saline Water Conversion Corporation (Tahliya) is set to organize an international conference that reveals the latest innovations and technologies, in the field of water desalination.

International Desalination Association (IDA) and global expertise and specialized companies, are set to take part, in the event, in a participation aiming to serve via setting up a roadmap for creating a better future for the desalination industry, and improving the quality of life, by continuing to reduce the cost of production of a desalinated water cubic meter as well as carbon emissions, in line with the Kingdom’s plan to reach zero carbon emissions by 2060.

The conference, which will be held on February 7-9, 2022 in Jeddah, with participation of experts and specialists representing America, Russia, Brazil, China, Korea, Japan and India, to discuss the latest creative solutions and successful experiences, in the desalination industry, and urge its leaders internationally to keep pace with the accelerating growth of this industry, with innovation and development.

During the conference, international experts and speakers will present 60 scientific papers that reflect the developments, which have been made, in the industry, in addition to the technical achievements that play a pivotal role, in overcoming the challenges of production cost and energy consumption.

A group of international companies will share their experiences, too, in the field of innovations in water desalination technologies, and the conference would be enriched by an elite group of speakers.
