Council of Economic, Development Affairs, Met

Council of Economic and Development Affairs held a virtual meeting.

It was briefed on several reports, offers and transactions on its agenda, including periodic reports submitted by the Ministries of Health and Economic Planning, respectively, regarding health and economic developments related to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) and the accompanying precautionary measures.

The council also discussed presentation submitted by its Strategic Management regarding the comprehensive quarterly report of the programs, to realize the Vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (2030), through which the most prominent achievements, in terms of the strategic objectives of the vision, were reviewed, and a comprehensive analytical view was provided on the performance of the programs.

Focusing was on dimensions that include: program initiatives, key performance indicators, and the approved budget, in addition to the main potential risks, challenges and efforts exerted on these issues.

Council has taken the necessary recommendations.
