Foreign Investors Increased their Stake, in 84 Enterprises

Report on changes in terms of shareholding of all foreign investors revealed that theirs have increased in as many as 84 companies listed on the Saudi stock exchange Tadawul, with 4.6 million shares purchased, at a market value of SR211 million, while theirs in another 88 companies declined as they have sold as much as 27.1 million shares, at a market value of SR997 million.

Wednesday issued report pointed out that by selling 20 million shares with a market value of SR701 million, they reduced their shareholding in Saudi Aramco to 0.3%, or 0.01%, from the previous session.

At the end of the last session, Naseej company topped in terms of percentage of foreign investors’ shares increased by 0.59% to 4.79%, up from 4.2% in the previous session, by purchasing 125 thousand shares, at a market value of SR3.6 million, according to the last closing price of the share, the report added.

The Food Development company topped in terms of the percentage of foreign investors’ ownership decrease, declining from 0.30% to 0.78%, from 1.08% in the previous session, by selling as many as 9 thousand shares, at a market value of SR2 million.

It’s worth noting that the Saudi stock index Tadawul has finished the trading session, at 10,991.80 points on Wednesday, down 116.4 points, or 1.05%, from the previous session.
