To cement disputes' settlement alternatives

Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration, Hague-based Permanent Court of Arbitration Co-sign Cooperation Accord

The Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration has signed a cooperation agreement with the Permanent Court of Arbitration, in the Hague, Netherland, with the aim of coordinating efforts between the two sides, to improve the practices of the alternative disputes settlement domain, in the region, and to consolidate their partnerships with the leading international institutions, in the domain of alternatives to disputes settlement.

The Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration was represented at the signing ceremony of the agreement by its CEO, Dr. Hamid Meera, while the Permanent Court of Arbitration was represented by its Secretary-General Hugo Siblesz.

Under the cooperation agreement, the two parties will cooperate in promoting arbitration, mediation, and other alternatives to disputes settlement, in addition to exchanging information, holding conferences, events, specialized activities, student arbitration competitions, and others.
