The 3-rd Booster Dose, is a Must

In reference to the previously announced requirement of immunization to enter activities and events, and to use public transportation, an official source, at  the Ministry of Interior stated that, based on what health authorities have raised of the importance of obtaining booster doses of vaccines (Covid 19) to enhance the level of immunity, among members of society, and to control outbreaks of the virus, the intaking of a 3-rd booster dose, .is a must, from Feb., the 1st, 2022

As studies have proven that the safety, effectiveness and significance of stimulant doses, given the chances of a decline, in the levels of antibodies, in the blood, after 6-month from receiving the second dose.

It calls for the need to confirm that those who have been 6-month or more since receiving the second dose, should quickly receive the stimulant dose, or the booster, in short.

The source also stated that starting from Jumada Al-Thani 29 1443 AH corresponding to February 1, 2022, receiving the booster dose will be considered a condition for the continuation of the appearance of the (immunized) condition on the (Tawakulna) application, for everyone who has been 8-month, or more since receiving the second dose, for the 18-year old age group and over.

As of the aforementioned date; the appearance of the status of (Muhsan) on the (Tawakkalna) application will be a condition for the following:

1 Taking part in any economic, commercial, cultural, sports or tourism activity.

2 Participating in any cultural, scientific, social or recreational event.

3 Entering any governmental or private establishment, whether to perform business or following up other transactions.

4 Boarding planes or public transportation means.

The categories excluded from taking the vaccine shall be, according to the feedback appearing on the (Tawakkalna) application.

There is a great need for everyone to adhere to the precautionary measures, preventive procedures and all approved health applicable protocols, the source stressed, adding that all procedures and measures are subject to continuous assessment by the competent health authorities, according to the developments, related to the epidemiological situation.
