Saudi-British Joint Business Council held its semi-annual meetings, at the Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce.
An array of Saudi businesspersons and officials from government agencies, and their British counterparts, discussed strengthening trade and investment exchanges, between the two friendly countries.
The head of the Saudi side Dr. Imad Al-Thukair, noted the importance of the meeting, which comes, at a time when the world is recovering from the Coronavirus pandemic, which will provide promising opportunities between the two sides, especially in light of the economic and investment developments, that the Kingdom is experiencing, constituting a great opportunity for other countries to strengthen commercial relations with the Kingdom.
Saudi-British Business Council plays a major role, in strengthening economic relations between the two countries, and the great successes, which have been achieved during the past, Dr. Imad Al-Thukair stressed.
The meeting witnessed presentation of a number of topics of common interest, especially in the fields of sustainable investment, technology and health training.
A number of projects with government agencies highlighted investment and development opportunities, the most important of which are the Diriyah Gate, the Ministry of Investment and the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, in addition to a host of Saudi companies, in the fields of Technology and education.
