Over 5-year, 200 student pilots from China to conduct training, yearly, in KSA

OxfordSaudia Flight Academy Signs SR350,000 mln Contract to Train 1000 Chinese Students

OxfordSaudia has signed a training contract with Maitland 175 and G Outreach Educational Resources INC who represents the major 5 airlines in China.

The contract secures as many as 200 Chinese students every year to be trained at OxfordSaudia Flight Academy facilities, in Saudi Arabia over a period of 5 years, making a total of as much as1000 Chinese students.

This is the first time in the history of the aviation training industry, in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to attract foreign students to train to be pilots in the kingdom.

This deal with a total of SR350,000 million is the largest in the history of flight academies in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

“As we vision OxfordSaudia to be the leading destination in ab-initio flight training globally, this is one step further to achieve this goal.

The Chinese aviation market has the largest demand worldwide and we have the capabilities and the interest to contribute to its training needs.

This agreement help in creating hundreds of jobs for our graduates to work as flight instructors and is in parallel with our offered career path to guarantee employments for our students” Captain Larry Wade, CEO of OxfordSaudia Flight Academy said.“

The demand is still very strong and growth has been quite stable. Taking into acount the impact of the outbreak we plan to send two hundred a year to OxfordSaudia Flight Academy to train.

It is even predicted that after the epidemic is alleviated, all aspects of demand, including flight crew training needs will be even greater.

We are also excited to know we are planning on partnering with them to open a flight school, in China, in an effort, staffed by OxfordSaudia Flight Academy graduates, focusing on creating additional capacity to train Chinese Students at home,” Maria Hsueh, the President of Maitland 175 and GTI Outreach Educational Resources INC explained.
