SPGE signs MoU with Telecommunications Towers

The State Properties General Authority (SPGE) signed on Sunday a memorandum of understanding with Telecommunications Towers Company Limited (TAWAL) which is specialized in providing infrastructure services for the communications and information technology sector.

The deal comes in the framework of strengthening cooperation that achieves common strategic goals and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, towards establishing an advanced digital infrastructure.

The advanced digital infrastructure would contribute to accelerating the digital transformation process, building a prosperous digital economy, and an innovative future for the Kingdom.

The memorandum was signed by the Deputy Governor of the Investment and Business Development Authority, Dr. Fahad bin Mushayt, and the CEO of Twal Company, Eng. Mohammed Alhakbani.

The memorandum of understanding aims to regulate the contractual procedures for towers based on state real estate and to invest some sites owned by the state and are at the State Properties General Authority (SPGE) disposal to establish communication towers, in order to achieve the SPGE message regarding protecting state real estate and raising its production and economic efficiency through innovative solutions.
