General Civil Aviation Authority (GACA) will to take part, in the Airshow, that is set to be held from on14-18 Nov 2021.
In its pavilion, the authority will review the authority’s strategy and highlight the investment opportunities, available in this sector, in addition to highlighting the Kingdom’s hosting of an aviation summit of global significance, in 2022.
The participation will introduce the vision of the General Authority of Civil Aviation on the strategy to make the civil aviation sector, in the Kingdom, in the first place, in the Middle East by 2030, in addition to reviewing investment opportunities and an overview of the civil aviation sector projects, including building, developing and improving the 29 airports, in the Kingdom, and the readiness of the authority for the next qualitative stage, at the level of the aviation industry, after the Kingdom launched the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics Services, which constitutes a major and influential turning point, in the civil aviation industry, in the Kingdom, and enhances air traffic, in the region and the world..
The participation will witness many activities and events and the signing of agreements, in light of the expansion experienced by the region from establishing and developing airports, to obtaining its share of the aviation market, and highlighting the project of institutional transformation of airports and its support for the future of the air transport, industry in the Kingdom, and its contribution to expanding the role of the private sector and attracting investments.
Several entities will participate in the authority’s pavilion, including the Saudi Academy of Civil Aviation, the Saudi Civil Aviation Holding Company, represented by Riyadh and Dammam Airports Company, Saudi Airlines, Executive Company, Saudi Air Navigation Services Company, Prince Sultan Academy of Aviation Science, Saudi Airlines Catering Company, Flynas and flyadeal.
The exhibition constitutes an important platform for introducing a better view of the latest developments, innovations, emerging technologies, and services related to air transport, especially in light of the estimates that the number of passengers will double in the coming years.
This makes the air transport industry and airports in strenuous search for ways to be able to deal effectively with the increasing number of passengers.
