ABLCC Organize, virtual, Seminar, to Explore Investment Prospects

Arab, Belgian, Luxembourgish Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Kingdom’s embassy, in Brussels, organized a virtual seminar entitled “Saudi Arabia, the Land of Unlimited Opportunities and Promising Initiatives”, with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Commerce and CEO of the National Competitiveness Center Dr. Iman Al-Mutairi, and the presence of the Saudi Ambassador to Belgium Dr. Khaled Al-Jindan, the Belgian Ambassador to the Kingdom Dominique Minor and the Secretary-General of the Chamber, Caesar Hijazin.

Al-Mutairi spoke about the radical transformations that the Kingdom has experienced since the launch of “Vision 2030”, which led to the opening of many new promising sectors, contributing to diversification of the economy and the availability of many opportunities for investors, in addition to providing support and overcoming the obstacles they face, in light of the existence of an environmentally friendly environment.

Competitiveness is to enhance economic growth through the implementation of many legislative and procedural reforms, in integration with government agencies and the participation of the private sector, she commented, stressing the continuation of aligning government efforts, in the field of enhancing competitiveness and keeping pace with international best practices, in thisrespect.

For his part, Ambassador Al-Jandan discussed the opportunities that the Kingdom abounds with, especially the presence of natural resources and the geographical location, in the middle of three continents, in addition to the ease of obtaining entry visas to the Kingdom for businesspersons and commercial delegations.

Ambassador Minor said we have noticed the great work by the Saudis on multiple files, most notably business development and talent acquisition, and we look forward to investing in the logistical and engineering fields, in light of the interest of a number of business interests, to enter the Saudi market and take advantage of the opportunities and incentives that the Kingdom offers to foreign investors, in order to encouraging Belgian companies, to expand their businesses and establish new ones, in promising sectors, in the Kingdom.
