Saudi Industrial production increased by 6.5% in September 2021

The industrial production index in Saudi Arabia increased by 6.5% in September 2021 compared to the same month in the year 2020.

This increase came as a result of the rise in mining and quarrying activity by 7.6%, as Saudi Arabia increased oil production from 8.9 million barrels per day in September 2020 to 9.6 million barrels per day in September 2021, according to CNBC Arabia.

The production of manufacturing activity in September of 2021 increased by 4.5% compared to the same month of the previous year.
