Monsha'at represent the Kingdom

Gulf Entrepreneurs 1st Forum 2021 Launched, in Oman

Under the title: Future Prospects for Entrepreneurship, in the Gulf Cooperation Council member states, with the aim of encouraging small and medium enterprises, to expand and invest and display pioneering experiences, the 1st edition of the Gulf Entrepreneurs Forum 2021, launched, in Oman.

The delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Deputy Governor of the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises “Monsha’at” Essam Al-Thukair, participated by presenting a research working paper that included several areas, such entrepreneurship, financing entrepreneurs, in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and investment opportunities for entrepreneurs, through introducing a worthy service presented by the Director of Supply Chain Management at “Monsha’at”, and a working paper on financing services presented by the Director of Reporting Management at “Monsha’at.”

Monsha’at” effectively contributed to the leadership discourse by nominating two Saudi project owners and startups to present their pioneering ideas and projects to investors.

It also nominated ten qualified franchisors wishing to grant franchises in the Gulf Cooperation Council, as part of the forum’s activities.

Over the course of three days, the forum will review a set of working papers, with activities including discussion sessions to explore the future of entrepreneurship, financing small and medium enterprises, and future investment opportunities for entrepreneurs in the countries of the Cooperation Council.

The forum was accompanied by the Gulf Franchise Exhibition, in which more than 50 Gulf brands participated, with the aim of achieving integration and Gulf trade exchange, marketing the identities of participating and exhibiting establishments, and providing various options for entrepreneurs to contribute to the strengthening of the Gulf-wide economy.
