Nomu falls 2.3%

The Saudi stock exchange index “TASI” concluded trading on Tuesday, at 11,753.18 points, down 93.35 points, or 0.79%, from the previous session.

For its part, the parallel market index “Nomu” ended the session, following the suit, with a loss of 582.93 points, or 2.3%, compared to the previous session, closing at 24803.65 points, with a liquidity reaching about SR90.7, with 638.4 thousand shares traded through 2997 transactions.

Last session liquidity on the major market was at SR6.9 billion, resulting from the trading of 181.5 million shares through 335 thousand deals, as shares of 18 businesses advanced against 174 declined firms’ shares.

As many as 20 of the market’s 21 sectors fell, led by public utilities, felling 3.7%, long-term commodities fell 3.4%, pharmaceuticals fell 3.3%, and insurance, which fell 2.4 %, while the media and entertainment sector rose 1.8%.

Alhasoob Co. 29.9%, Al-Bilad 4.6%, Ma’aden 3.3%, Makkah 3.1%, and Al-Yamamah Steel, Research, and Media 2.5%, are the biggest advancers.

While, Tihama 10%, Amanah 9%, exports 8.5%, Salama 7.9%, and Enaya 7.5%, were the biggest decliners.
