Business Sector Taxpayers Subject to Withholding Tax to Submit their Returns

Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority urged taxpayers to quickly submit their tax returns through its website (zatca.gov.sa), in order to avoid a fine for default, in the specified period, at the rate of 1% of an unpaid tax, for each 30-day delay from the due date.

Business sector taxpayers wishing to obtain more information regarding the withholding tax, have to contact it through the unified number of the call center (19993), operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, or “Ask Zakat, Tax and Customs” account on Twitter (@Zatca_Care), e-mail (info@zatca.gov.sa), or through instant chats via the website (zatca.gov.sa).

Withholding tax is one of the tax systems, in forc,e in the Kingdom, that is deducted from the total income of a non-resident establishment, in return for services it provides inside the Kingdom, in accordance with the rates specified in Article 63 of the Income Tax Law Regulations.
