Saudi Ports Authority “Mwani”, in collaboration with the Saudi Company for Electronic Information Exchange “Tabadul” and the Emirate of Makkah region, launched the service of booking truck appointments, at Jeddah Islamic Port, as a mandatory procedure, which allows booking an appointment, in advance through the “Fasah” platform, as of November 1.
This will contribute to facilitating the entry and exit procedures for trucks, speeding up customs clearance processes and reducing waiting time.
The Truck Appointment Service raises the efficiency of operation, in ports and improves the productivity of carriers, through smart technical solutions that help reduce container turnover and reduce the need for paper transactions.
