Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “Misk Charity” announced the launch of its first-of-its-kind educational program, under the title: “Leaders of Tomorrow”.
It is a training camp that takes the participants on a field trip, in the center of Yanbu Governorate and its unique nature; as a guide for the future leaders and enhance their capabilities to overcome challenges.
The program, which will take place at the end of next November, comes as the first training program on the ground, since the transition to virtual programs, where participants in both categories at the secondary and university levels, will spend a self-challenging journey that represents a unique opportunity to discover their potentials, in facing difficulties and solving problems, and working with a team of Mentors and mentors to hone their skills, preparing them to succeed as leaders, in taking on the challenges of the outside world on their own.
In its first edition, hosted by the Royal Commission in the industrial city of Yanbu, 160 male and female students with ages ranging from 17 to 24 year-old, are participating in the program.
As part of its endeavor to enhance the leadership qualities of Saudi youth, and to help them through a unique and intensive program, with lessons not available in traditional education programs, to contribute to leading the Kingdom’s future.
Holding the program in the open air is an enriching experience for camp participants, which allows them to adventure in the heart of nature.
Participants in the program are set to go out of their way to face challenges and learn through various activities; as it takes students on live experiences that push them towards developing their personal and social skills, such as adaptability, effective communication with others, and teamwork, as well as gaining leadership skills from problem solving, time management, and decision-making, on the spot.
MiSK Foundation appreciates the unlimited support of the Royal Commission in Yanbu by hosting the program and providing space in the nature of the Red Sea and its unique diversity, for the beneficiaries of the training program, in a step that will enhance the impact of the program on young talents, in an integrated and exceptional field experience.
The “Leaders of Tomorrow” program is one of a series of programs launched by the Foundation to prepare young people to chart a promising path for themselves, through its work, since its launch in 2011, to take the hand of young people across the country and provide various means to nurture and empower talents and creative energies.
