Made in Saudi Arabia Program Takes off

Made in Saudi Arabia program is participating, in Al-Ula Dates’ Festival, in its 2nd season, organized by the Royal Commission for Al-Ula Governorate, which is set to continue for three weeks on Fridays and Saturdays, starting from October 15, 2021.

Participation of the “Made in Saudi Arabia” program in the “Al-Ula Dates’ Festival” comes as part of its efforts to enhance cooperation and strategic partnerships, with local authorities and to introduce the program, its vision and objectives, in order to achieve the program’s goals, that support the national industry and enhance its competitive quality, in the local and international markets.

It is worth noting that the “Made in Saudi Arabia” program was launched by the Saudi Export Development Authority last March, under the generous patronage of HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, which aims to increase domestic consumption and the share of the market for local goods and services, increasing Saudi non-oil exports, in priority export markets, and contributing to enhancing the attractiveness of the Saudi industrial sector for local and foreign investment.

During its participation, the program presented two workshops to introduce the Saudi Export Development Authority and its services provided to support exporters and raise their competitiveness in international markets, in addition to an introductory workshop on the Made in Saudi program and its advantages offered to members, including the use of the “Saudi Industry” logo in institutional communications, registered products, and marketing.

Furthermore, to the member companies, facilitating their communications with all relevant government agencies, and exchanging experiences with all members of the program, in various fields.

It is worth noting that the festival comes within the economic and societal packages announced by Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Governor of the Royal Commission for Al-Ula Governorate, which attaches great importance to the agricultural sector, as an important economic tributary, and to achieve the aspirations of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, “aims to enhance the role of the Kingdom to become the largest exporter of dates, in the world.
