Artificial intelligence looks at us as a brilliant magician waving his magic wand to change the face of the world, and unfortunately the labor market will not be immune from its magic, with each passing day, artificial intelligence technologies are developing at breakneck speed, turning many traditional jobs into tasks for him, but do not worry, this revolution does not come without opportunities, as a result of the loss of some jobs, artificial intelligence will create new jobs that did not exist before, jobs that fit the era of technology and innovation.

It will help to increase productivity by automating routine tasks, which will save time for employees to focus on more creative and innovative tasks, and on the other hand, it will improve the quality of work by analyzing data more accurately, which will lead to better decisions, but this revolution does not come without challenges, most notably the loss of some traditional jobs, and changing the nature of work to become more dependent on digital and technical skills.

Machines and algorithms powered by artificial intelligence can perform repetitive and routine tasks faster, cheaper and more accurately than humans, which will displace jobs in sectors such as manufacturing, transportation, customer service and even administrative jobs involving data analysis, programming and research.

In the same context, artificial intelligence can create new jobs instead of displacing existing jobs, jobs related to its development, maintenance and organization, and this may also lead to the emergence of new industries and applications that depend on it directly or indirectly, especially as it has become an important requirement for all industries and services in all sectors, however, new opportunities may not be enough to compensate for the jobs lost due to automation.

Some experts believe that the impact of artificial intelligence in displacing jobs may be temporary, as the labor market will adapt to changes and will create new jobs over time, however, the transition period may be a challenge for individuals who lose their jobs, and may lead to a temporary increase in unemployment rates around the world. While others argue that artificial intelligence may lead to an increase in unemployment in the long term, especially for low-skilled workers. Thanks to the advancement of machines using artificial intelligence, these machines can perform more tasks that were previously thought to require a human presence.

In conclusion, the impact of artificial intelligence on jobs and unemployment rates is a complex issue with potential benefits and challenges, but by working together we can mitigate the negative effects of artificial intelligence on the workforce, and ensure that everyone benefits from its benefits, by investing in education, stimulating job creation policies, qualifying private sector workers to the requirements of the new labor market, and ensuring a better future for everyone.
