I congratulate Saudi Arabia and its people on the completion of five years of Vision2030. Under the guidance of His Majesty King Salman and the visionary leadership of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the kingdom has navigated through a host of socio-economic challenges posed by COVID-19 with incredible focus and determination, setting a model of economic growth and cultural resilience to the entire Middle East and the world.

On the business front, Saudi Aramco honoured all the commitments it made to its stakeholders despite unfavourable market conditions. The Public Investment Fund rapidly adapted to the new normal and secured the interests of the Saudi economy, consolidating its position as the most proactive sovereign wealth fund in the world.

At the heart of the Saudi growth story lies its commitment to Vision2030, which has opened the doors to the social and economic liberalisation of Saudi Arabia, equitable development of its people and strengthening of its ancient heritage and culture. I am sure that the development of the Red Sea and the AlUla region as part of Vision2030 will provide tourists across the world a unique opportunity to explore the history of the region and experience first-hand the fascinating culture of Saudi Arabia.

I reiterate my support and commitment to the developmental priorities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and I once again congratulate Saudi Arabia and its people for completing five successful years of Vision2030 and wish them a bright and prosperous future
